My Play 1's are not working for surround when paired with the playbar. This only occurs when watching TV, when listening to music they sound great - stereo works fine.



Does anyone have any advice? I saw that others have had the same issue and have been asked by Sonos to submit a diagnostic so I have also done this.

Hi. If you are just watching OTA TV broadcasts then they are rarely in anything more than stereo audio format so nothing is being sent to the rear speakers. What source are you watching.?
And, to piggy back on John M's question, what do you see when you look in the Sonos app under "about my Sonos System" for the Playbar under Audio in?
