I currently have two Ones that are paired in stereo mode. If I were to buy a Play:5 and group it with the two Ones, will the Ones maintains stereo mode with each other when the Play:5 is added?

Would you recommend this or buying a Sub to go with the Ones?

It depends what you're trying to achieve. If you're looking for great stereo sound, I'm told that a stereo pair of Ones plus a Sub sounds fantastic. If you're looking to fill an awkward or large space with sound, then adding a suitably located Play:5 may be a better option. Try before you commit, if possible.

Thanks. My main issue is that my TV doesn't support the conversion of HDMI through optical for DD. Otherwise, I'd get the Playbar + Sub and have a 5.1 with the two Ones. So, I guess I am just trying to weigh my current options to get the best sound for music while maintaining the possibility that I'll get a new TV down the line. I just didn't want to have two Subs sitting next to each other in the same room (one for my current surround and the Sonos Sub for music with the Ones).
