Can i make a stereo pair with a Sonos play 1 and Sonos play 3.
I already have a play 1 mounted in a room and want to buy another Sonos but as apposed to getting another play 1 I think a play 3 would be better but only if I can create a stereo pair with them, I know you can't pair a 5 & a 3 but can you pair a 3 & a 1 ???

IT would-be strange to pair two different speakers in stereo. For stereo you need 2 exact the same speakers for the best sound. I do not know is it is possible but you don’t want to do that.

It's not possible to stereo pair a Play:1 with Play:3 or 5. Nor is it possible to stereo pair a Play:1 with a Sonos:1 (Actually there is a 3rd party controller that will allow you to do this).
But as ERooij states you would NOT want to stereo pair a 1 with a 5 for instance
