Is it OK to physically touch the subwoofer speaker while a song is playing?

My daughter likes to put her hand on the actual subwoofer speakers while a song plays with big bass. Could that potentially damage the sub or is that okay? We have a Sonos Sub Mini.

Just touching will not be a problem; sub drivers are robust. But how will you ensure it does not accidentally end up more than just touching and cause damage then?

I’ve seen a message here about a speaker protector that can be put in the hole in the Sub. Can’t find due to the search function on this forum.

Is there a sub protector for the sub mini or just the big sub?

Easy to make one out of speaker cloth.

Likely will be a Sub Mini coming soon, check the folks making the full sized covers.
