I am setting up a stereo pair with Sonos One speakers on both my bedside tables. Call them A and B. As I face my bed, speaker A is on the left and speaker B on the right. But when I am in bed, speaker B is heard on my left and A is heard on the right. I want to use this stereo pair to listen to Binaural Beats, which plays music in a slightly different frequency for each ear. So my question is -do I call speaker B the left and speaker A the right?

Does it matter?
Conventionally, “Left” is the one on the left as you face the pair.
Where will you usually be when listening? Set them up to suit that arrangement. If you don’t like that, switch them around.

When you setup the stereo pair, one of the speakers will play tones and you confirm in the app whether this is the left or right speaker.
There is no quick way to swap the right and left speakers in a Room using the app.
Maybe put them on extension cords and physically swap them? Probably faster.
When I set up my Rooms I put a right/left sticker on the bottoms so if I move them for some reason getting them back correctly is easy.

Redoing the stereo pair in the app is hardly a time consuming exercise.
How long does it take you to remove a Pair and re-create it swapped?
For me, too long to want to do a couple times a day.

I’d have thought that unplugging from power, physically swapping the around and restarting them is a once-off action and probably the easiest/cleanest way of swapping left and right speakers/channels.
I do like the pillow swap idea though 😜

For the sake of maybe 30 seconds, that’s why I suggested the physical swap.
And if they’re not already on extension cords, they’re going to have to be powered down to plug them into extension cords in the first place. 😛
The OP isn't looking for a single swap but multiple swaps as the content and listening positions changes.
For a single swap the extension cords are unnecessary.
The OP is asking about initial setup of the stereo pair, not looking to constantly change the left/right speaker depending on where they are in the room. Doing so would be absurd.
