How to connect a CD-player to PLAY1 and PLAU5 ?
I've a CD-player (analog line out). How do I connect this to my Sonos speakers play 1 and 5?

In this case, the best thing to think about that line-in on the speaker is that it's completely separate from the speaker itself. In the controller app, you can define any of your speakers to be where it plays. And of course, you can then group the speaker that is playing the line-in with any/all of your other Sonos speakers.
It's something I frequently do, when playing TuneIn premium content from my computer. It goes in to the Play:5, and gets grouped with the kitchen and the TV, since I prefer the radio baseball announcers to the TV folks.
