Has anyone out there had issues with a speaker causing a GFCI outlet to trip. When I plug in a Play 5 speaker on a downstream outlet the GFCI outlet immediately trips.

It's possible that the Play speaker is faulty. I'd be calling Sonos before you attempt to plug it into a socket that isn't protected.

Presumably if you plug other devices into your GFCI it doesn't trip?

Speaker has been plugged into the same outlet for over a year and yes other devices being plugged in does not cause the outlet to trip.
