I want to buy era200. Aim is to upgrade. However price no different with Black Friday deals doing an upgrade. Is there any point buying as an upgrade. Can you combine discounts. Thanks

You can't combine discounts.
Doing the holiday sale gets you the same discount as the upgrade deal, it is time limited but not limited to one item.
Use the sale when available, or when you want more than one item, save your upgrade discount for when you want to something good but there is no 30% sale.

Keep an eye out for double upgrade discount offers, I recall there was one recently in September (Sonos financial YE) , 30% upgrade discount instead of 15%.
