Trying to determine the best place for some rears. I currently have the Arc Ultra plus a sub. Awkward room, I know. Was thinking of placing them on that soffet behind the sofa and running power cables down to the outlets at each corner. I’d rather not have anything on the walls however I have a feeling that’s the recommendation I’ll hear back. Appreciate the guidance in advance.
Too far back to meet the usual guidelines but on stands just inside the railing would be my first choice. Homemade stands for the trial, to avoid buying expensive ones if that spot proves unusable.
My room is also difficult and I found even if not well placed the 300s sound pretty good. My options were a lot worse than yours but with them poorly placed things still sounded better than without.
Thanks for the tip! I had not thought of the speaker stand option. Would that be because of the up-firing Atmos speakers and allowing that to fill the room? Also, how high should they sit?
