Capacitive touch controls, not a fan!

I much prefer the physical buttons over the capacitive touch controls. Not so much an issue on Playbase but on the Sonos One. I have my One on top of my refrigerator. When I want to group it via the play/pause button with the Playbase, I have to look at the top of the One. With my Play 3, I can feel the buttons without looking and press the play/pause button to group it. Same thing with turning it up and down without the controller. I love the one button group feature for when I'm cooking and want to hear what's on the TV. The capacitive touch controls kinda defeat that function for me in the kitchen.

Hi Mugs

You might try the iPort xPress Audio Keypad for your kitchen. Sonos Direct offers 45 day return. Here are the links:

Pretty cool. Any idea if it supports the play/pause grouping function?

Looks like it does_according to the manufacturers page.:? However, if it does not you still have the return option.

I think I'll just get a Play 1 with the buttons rather than spend $100 on a controller.
