I'm thinking of buying SONOS sub (Gen.3).

Can I send Music from my iPhone to SONOS sub (Gen.3) directly via 'AirPlay 2'?

 

for Example:

iPhone SE → SONOS sub (Gen.3)

iPhone SE → HomePods and SONOS sub (Gen.3)

without Other Sonos items.

No.  A Sub must be bonded with at least one other Sonos (non-sub) device.

No, the Sonos portables cannot be bonded with a Sub.
