Am I correct in thinking the Sonos play 1 will not work on 802.11n via 2.4ghz?
Reason I ask is I was about to change a setting in my Asus router on the 2.4ghz band to use N speeds only and lose the b/g. Currently its set to mixed so it supports all bands on 2.4ghz but most of my devices can do 802.11n.
Only Im having a few router related issues and changing it to n only was suggested as a fix but Ive got a strange feeling that in the year 2016 the Sonos play 1 will restrict me from doing this!

+21If your Sonos device(s) are set up to connect to your WiFi network, then you need to keep 802.11b/g enabled. 802.11n is not supported. The way around that would be to wire a Sonos device - a speaker or a Boost/Bridge - to your router, and use Sonos in "Boost Mode" instead. Then Sonos will use its own wireless network (make sure the two don't interfere with each other!) and you can change your router over to 802.11n.

It should! I checked my router, and I have 2.4Ghz set to "802.11n only" and it works great. Also, a quick search shows the radios in Sonos are all 802.11n.
