option to turn off SVC voice response

Sonos please deactivate voice reply. It is so annoying and completely unnecessary. Awesome, great choice etc. Nobody wants it!!

Easily switch it off in “settings”

Are you saying you want SVC turned on to take your voice commands, but not give any voice response back to your commands?

If so, this is the first time I’ve ever heard anyone ask for this, for SVC or any other voice assistant for that matter..  I have no idea how you came to the conclusion that ‘nobody wants it’.

I certainly wouldn't want it... If I used the voice assistant that is!

I turned off Siri responces.  Just want the request executed.  Don’t need confirmation.

Agreed—voice confirmations can become pretty disruptive, especially for simple commands. An option to disable spoken acknowledgements while keeping error responses would make the voice experience much cleaner.
