I have recently switched from Amazon Music to Tidal. I have linked the Tidal service in the Sonos app and can control using the Sonos app, I just can’t get Sonos to play Tidal music using voice commands (Sonos), I get the following back:
“Sorry, Sonos voice control isn’t available for Tidal yet”.
Can anyone help, or is just a limitation I have to live with?
Thanks

Until Sonos adds Tidal, it’s a limitation you’ll need to live with.
I haven’t seen any significant changes to this data, I have no idea if their working together to ‘solve’ this, as Sonos doesn’t announce what they’re working on.

Why? There is no mention I see on scanning that page regarding SVC. And as far as I’m aware, it continues to work using the Sonos controller. What am I missing here?
It’d certainly be nice if they can work with Tidal to get it added, though. Not certain if Tidal is really interested, or have it as a priority, but I suspect the usage numbers of streaming services certainly suggest it to Sonos. But if Tidal has 90% of their users not on Sonos, it may not be a priority to support an integration, if they have other ‘more important’ things to work on. Resources are always difficult, and there are priorities in someone’s mind who ‘owns’ that list.
