How to play Apple Music (from 3 accounts) playlists with Sonos Voice

Hello,

We’re 3 Sonos users at home, each of us logged on his smartphone with Sonos and with his own Apple Music account set.

My issue is around Voice Control or Alexa. How can I ask a specific playlist to be played?

Example: my son has an Era 100 in his bedroom and when he asks “Hey Sonos, plays my playlist Likés” it plays another playlist, from another Apple Music account

Does anyone has a solution to allow everyone in the same house, to ask for music, from different Apple Music or Podcasts account?

On SVC, there's a setting for the Default Service, which is global to the whole system and can't be set by speaker. This is the account which is being used to play the playlist.

When you set multiple Apple Music accounts in your system, you can give them different names, e.g. Mike's Apple Music, Mary's AM, etc.

You can try something like:

  • Hey Sonos, play the playlist Likes on Mike's Apple Music
  • Hey Sonos, play the playlist Likes on Mary's AM in the Living Room”
