I can’t seem to install Sonos Voice Control in my Beam Gen 1. It keeps on saying: “There was a problem adding Sonos Voice Control. Make sure your products connected to WIFI.” Alexa is working fine though. How do I resolve this?

I tried that but still get the same error.
I suggest you try once again. If it fails to install run a diagnostic within 10 minutes and record the reference ID in your next post. Then call Sonos tech support to discuss the results.
