Beam Voice Control issues

I’m sadly having issues with the voice control on my Sonos Beam Gen. 2. 

I turned of the voice control a few days ago over the beam. I mainly did it to turn off the LED. Now I wanted to turn on Voice Control again, so i clicked on the microphone symbol on my Beam and the LED turned on again. When trying to actually use voice control, the Beam would not react. I tried to turn off Voice Control and turn it on again but when turning it off the LED would not turn off anymore (I tried it over the app and directly on the Beam). 
Now the LED is constantly on, the Voice Control doesn’t work anymore, and i’m completely clueless…

Is there a known solution to my issue?

  1. Remove voice control assistance from the Beam2 via the app and reinstall it.
  2. If using Alexa it wouldn’t hurt to disable the Sonos skill in the Alexa app and re-enable before following the step above.
  3. After voice control is working again you can disable the LED via the app. Follow the steps the link: *

Enable or disable the status light | Sonos

 

 * This will certainly disable the main LED. It may not disable the voice control LED
