Hi,

I have re-installed Sonos S1 on my Samsung tablet and now I can't connect to Tidal. See the image below. How do I solve the problem?

I can login to the Tidal app itself.

Delete the Tidal app in the Sonos app and re-add it. Let us know the outcome.

I have re-installed the Tidal app as well and I have rebooted my tablet. I have powered off my Sonos Connect and powered it on again. I rebooted my router yesterday. Tidal still won't connect. I will try from my Windows 11 later tosay.

I don't know if I should consider upgrading myvstreaming system.

Just as a test, what happens if your Sonos is unplugged while you reboot your router? Wait two minutes after rebooting the router before plugging back in the CONNECT.

Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it?

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Now I have tried your suggestion and it doed not work with the Sonos S1 app on my Windows 11 PC either.
No, I have not spoken with Sonos support.

Interesting. That obliviates my theory, but I suspect speaking with Support will get you back on track.

In addition I can tell that I have now rebooted my new router, reset all of my Sonos S1 devices,
added them all in the Sonos S1 app on my Android tablet. All my Sonos S1 devices now work
but I still can't add Tidal as a service in the Sonos S1 Android app.

I can add Tidal in the Sonos S1 app on Windows 11 but how come it does not work on my Android tablet? I am in contact with Tidal support about about this issue.
I know I can use the Tidal app to connect to Sonos but I consider buying a WIIM Pro and connect it
to my Sonos as a workaround.

Kind regards,
Martin

Note that I suggested Sonos support, not Tidal support.

As the Sonos controller app is merely a window as to what is happening on the system that operates on the speakers, I’m confused as to why Tidal is showing in The Window 11 controller, but not in the tablet version, since they’re both referencing your Sonos speakers. I’d still be calling Sonos support for additional information.

So you have successfully added Tidal to your Sonos system (using the always-reliable Desktop app), what is the problem?

Please, don’t factory reset your devices any more, that isn’t going to help.

How ancient is the Android tablet? If its Android version is too old then some features will not be available.
