With Sonos running almost seamlessly I can’t figure out why there’s not an option for adding 5 or even 7 speakers wirelessly for having a TRUE experience with Dolby and Atmos etc etc. 

 

I would love to se that you could add a soundbar as CENTER, and then,2 play 5 as front speakers, 2 era 100 as back speakers. Or what ever people prefer as front and back. 
 

the soundbars does an okay job, but not nearly as much if it was a standalone center. 
 

the cool thing is that they could FIX this with a software update.  
 

or am I missing something - and is there an option without adding an amp and inactive speakers.

Pay close attention to the discussion of bandwidth, buffers, and the razor thin edge even the surrounds and Sub are balancing between the ms of latency needed to sync with video, and reliable, stutter free performance.
