Why is my Echo dot playing on my Sonos speaker when I tell it to play a song? I haven’t done this on purpose. As an example, I say to Alexa, Play Kenny G, and it starts to play on my Sonos speaker in the other room. How do i stop this and have it play on the Echo dot?
The microphone on the Sonos speaker could be picking up your voice. So you need to be more specific with your request and tell Alexa where you want to play music.
Try Changing the Wake Word for the Echo Dot.

Where would I check this? I looked and didn’t see it. I must be looking in the wrong place.
In the Alexa app choose More (3 lines on the bottom) - Settings - Music & Podcasts. The Family Default Service is listed there. Click on that and click change to set a different service.

In the Alexa app, check the Master Bedroom Group and make sure the One hasn’t been selected as the default Speaker for that Group.
You can also specify to Alexa which device to play music on. “Alexa, play Kenny G on Master Bedroom Echo Dot.”
