The “sand” color is part of Sonos’ brand identity:

I personally like the “sand” color because it stands out amongst all of the other apps.
They should keep it simple black & white. Or at least make it more sandy color sand and not the brown/orange-ish. I’m not a fan.
I’ve often referred to it as “baby puke” (or worse). I’m with you, not a fan :)
