Hi there,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to achieve this with Sonos

if garage door sensor shows door opened for ## minutes, then play a specific alarm in Sonos

until door is closed or a set time limit is up.

 

Any suggestion on how to achieve this?

In my point of view it is not possible only with the Sonos App

Possibly using a home automation program such as Domotics or Home Assistant in combination with a door sensor connected to e.g. the GPOI of raspberry used to run the automation program can do this.

Anyhow, this sounds like a fun project for these winter days. 

I do not think you will find an out of the box plug & play solution for this

Should be able to use IFTTT so achieve this, assuming your garage door sensor is compatible.

Or maybe Olisto is an option as well?
