EWE integration

Being a quadriplegic I used to use Alexa to run a routine to operate the callbell in the nursing home. Since Alexa plus became available it continually fails to run the routines correctly. I understand sonos and EWElink can be connected to run routines by that System… how?

Hi @KNOXY-UK

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I confess I have never heard of EWE before, so I cannot really answer your question directly, but I think you may be interested in the just-launched Early Access Sonos 27mcp feature. You can read more about it at the link below.

Please note that Alexa+ is not yet named specifically, and that the feature is still in Early Access, but it is certainly a huge step in the right direction!

For EWELink specifics, I would have to refer you to EWELink themselves - we have no documentation on the service at all.

My posting here will get the thread back on the list of those most recently active - perhaps a community member will see it and be able to assist.

I hope this helps.

Yes Sonos 27 is the reason I purchased the ERA 300. Sadly with no date of when it will be definitely Live for everyone, Plus the poor ability for sonos to hear my voice… he is going back in his box.

Listening to nice music is important, being able to call a nurse is vital

Hi @KNOXY-UK

I couldn’t agree more!

Sorry to hear that the Era 300 couldn’t quite do what you were hoping for.
