Hi, Everybody! πŸ”ŠΒ

Unfortunately, yet another update that fails to restore the basic function of saving the queue as a playlist. I wonder how many users would prioritize rounded corners on album art over the restoration of key pre-May 2024 functionality.

I don’t know which version you have but mine (latest)Β for iOS works fine saving the queue as a playlist. I just tried it a couple of minutes ago.

Β

Mine is also latest iOS version, but the only options available for my queue are Shuffle, Repeat, or Delete. I can save individual tracks to a playlist by selecting the three dots, but nothing to save the entire queue.Β

My bad. I was β€œcheating” by putting anΒ entire album in the queueΒ and then selecting β€œSave toΒ Sonos Favorites.” That works but, as you say, the other doesn’t.

Dave, I did find a way to do it but I used the Sonos app for Windows to do it. After creating the queue, click on Save Queue and this comes up:

Then you can save it to a playlist. Of course this is a workaround. 😏

Saving the queue as a playlist has always been available from the desktop apps. It is the mobile apps that have been missing the feature for the past 19mths.

Thanks. Didn’t know that.

Thanks all, so it seems the wait for saving the queue from the mobile App goes on. Let’s hope Sonos, in its infinite wisdom, doesn’t remove this feature from the Windows App anytime soon.Β

Since the update, i get the message β€œcan’t find your devices”. I reinstalled app…still nothing. What next?

@craigskiΒ Just to say thanks for the ARP pointer. I did indeed have ARP Binding set for the 300’s & Sub4 on my router. I have removed this now and although I can’t say yet for updates Trueplay now works as it should on AppleΒ & Android.

I strongly suspect this will resolve the update behaviour too... ( @Stanley_4Β )

Thanks againΒ πŸ‘

This is still not visible in this update, which is purportedly from the Android app's prior version:

For Android: Folders can now be sorted by Song Name, Song Number, or File Name, and albums can be grouped by Compilations or Album Artist (or left ungrouped).
