Sonos 27.2 is Rolling Out on Android + You Can Now Manage Music Services from the Web App

Related content:SoftwareSonos

Hi everybody! Two things today:

First, the web app. You can now add and remove music services from your system right in the Sonos web app at play.sonos.com. Go to Settings and you’ll now see the option under Account.

Next, Sonos 27.2 is here for Android. Following last week’s update for iOS, which provided support for iPhone Duo, Sonos 27.2 brings bug fixes and performance improvements to Android (build 90.01.9). As always, the rollout is phased, so it may take a little bit to reach you.

We’d love to hear how both are working for you. Let us know!

On Android, reordering the playing queue / moving tracks up/down is still broken on this release. It was broken on 27.1 - 90.00.43. Dragging and dropping a track results in “unable to move track” error message, shows the track at the new location, but was never moved. It will not play at it’s new location and if you close the queue and reopen it, the track is shown back in its original location.

This is from the last update. I love the tabs but is it possible for them to always appear? If I go into system and then a step further or more I have to hit back however many times to see the tabs again when I might just want to skip straight to another tab.

You can slide the card down and out of the way to expose the previous screen and tabs.
