23rd June 2026 - 📲 New Sonos App Update Now Available! 🔊

Hey all! We've got a new update live for both iOS and Android — here's a quick breakdown of what's changed. Want the full history of what we've been up to? Check out our App Release Notes here.

As always, this is a Phased Rollout — think of it like a wave; not everyone gets it at the same time. If you're on iOS and want to nudge it along, head to the App Store, pull down on your Account page (the one showing pending updates), and give it a refresh. That usually does the trick.

 

What's New:

 

App Update

Android & iOS - 86.01.5

  • Fix related to a card popping up in the app to Enable SonosNet even if SonosNet has never been disabled.

Along with that, we made some backend changes that resolved a few smaller bugs.

    The function is called Trueplay and has never worked on Android because there are many more types of Android phones then there are iOS devices, all with different microphones. As you have noticed Sonos sometimes even lags behind on testing the microphones on iOS/iPad OS devices.

      Still wanting to know the fix for Sonos not playing all of the songs in my Amazon music library....I have a mear 194 songs and still building. Anyone have any suggestions?

      That sounds odd. Maybe start a new topic so it will get some attention from those who use Amazon Music.

        Need more details.  Are the 194 songs in a playlist?  Which ones don’t show or play?  What Sonos device are you playing the songs on?  Do you get an error message when a song does not play?  What is the Streaming Audio Quality setting in Amazon Music?

          Was this working for you before the update?

          Did you confirm all your Sonos are running the latest update?

          As mentioned in the first post this is a phased rollout so it could be up to four weeks before it is available and fully activated. Still a few days left on that schedule, 24 July should be the end of the download/activate window.
