I have just added a Sonos roam to my system, yet when I connect and select music to play , no sound comes from the device?

Make sure the Roam isn’t muted, you can tell it’s muted if the LED is green, and that the volume isn’t too low.

If both of those are okay, what source are you trying to play to the Roam and do any of them work? Try sources such as Radio, a different Music Service, your Music Library if it’s linked to Sonos, or Bluetooth. If you have any other speakers, try grouping the Roam with them to see if you get sound from either device.

I can’t tell exactly what is preventing you from hearing anything from the Roam, but it seems like this is easy to replicate. When you play to the Roam and get no audio, submit a diagnostics and reply here with the confirmation number so I can look into what’s causing this.
