Sonos Roam Setup fail

Brand new roam and unable to add.

Firstly the ping pairing doesn't work. Which seems odd. So used the code on the bottom. Fine.

Connects to WiFi.

App then says Added but may not appear on your system. Turn off, back on again and return to app.

Return to complete setup. Sits for ages then says "There was a problem adding your Sonos Roam to your system"

Tried a few times and same result.

The app then tries to do a system update and apply to the Roam which crashes.

I've sent diagnostics. I've spoken to an agent which ultimately got disconnected and a waste of time.

I've done a factory reset and hit the same problem.

Faulty Roam or..?

Doing setup on Android. App has been updated.

FWIW...I setup two Roam2’s and even created a stereo pair with no issue. However, I’m using iOS. It may be worth contacting Sonos Tech Support to determine if the fault lies with the Roam or network issues.

Hi, I have exactly the same issue as Vix666. There is clearly a product/system issue here. Unbelievably frustrating and poor from Sonos.
