When I plug in my Sonos Roam, the red light on the front appears but it does not respond in any way to pressing power buttons or any other buttons, and it is not appearing to connect via Bluetooth or WiFi. At the moment it’s essentially an expensive paper weight, any idea what is wrong with it?

Please leave your Roam on charge for an extended period, then disconnect it from the charger and hold the power button for 12-15 seconds to force a full reboot. 

If you still have problems with it afterwards, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.
