REALLY frustrated with the Roam

I bought the Roam, this is my second time trying to connect to it outside my home.  It is a brick.   I can’t connect to the bluetooth, had to reset it.  Now because I am not home, I can’t set it up in my Sonos system/on my account.  WHY?  It is dead weight and it should not be this difficult.  Waste of money.

The Roam has to be set up on your Sonos system on your home’s WiFi before you can use it as a Bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately, when you reset the speaker, you have to redo the setup process.

After you set the Roam up initially, would it not allow you to put it in Bluetooth pairing mode?
