For the past 2-3 weeks my Sonos roam and moves show no column bars and are unable to play anything. I’ve reset each speaker several times, updated the app and searched for solutions but the issue persists. This is particularly painful because my daughter likes to listen to audio books on her Sonos roam and is pretty upset when I have to reset and spend 20-30 minutes getting her roam to work every night. Please help. 

From the info you have provided it sounds like your Roams and Moves are having  network issues. Are you able to stream to other Sonos speakers over your network without issue?


Roams and Moves can miss firmware updates (as they power themselves off), and if they get ‘left behind’ this can happen. In the app do a “Check for updates”.
