Floor stand for Sonos Play

Hey,

Is there someone who found any floor stand for Sonos Play?

I found only one product from the Dutch brand „Vebos“. Seems they only offer that product within the EU at the moment. If you switch language e. g. to US or UK you can’t find the product.

I think now that Sonos Play and Move2 can be used as surrounds a floor stand for these speakers could become more interesting as before.
There’s a stand from Vebos on its way to me. I‘m curious how practical this solution is.
So let me know if there are other floor stands for Sonos Play you found, or just please tell me how you place your portable speakers when using them as surrounds. Of course you’ll be fine, if there‘s some furniture behind you to put the speakers on. But that won’t be the case for everyone.

Ok, as promised I’d like to tell you about my experiences with the Vebos floor stand for Sonos Play.
In the meantime it arrived and I’m very happy with it. Officially at the moment the floor stand only is available in black. But as I prefer white I asked Vebos and they were able to send me the floor plate and the stand tube in white, because these parts also seem to be part of floor stands for other products. So I asked a friend to repaint the black top part and fortunately that was no problem. In the end I’m happy to have a white colored version of the Sonos Play floor stand. 😎

Imho this is a perfect solution to switch between mobile and fixed usecase. The height of 80cm fits quite well for surround speaker usage. The Vebos floor stand is of high quality and the Sonos Play can be put on and off the stand quickly and easily. The speaker fits perfectly and safe to the top part. A USB C cable can be installed within the stand tube and the speakers USB C port and control buttons on the back can be used without any problems.
The “ring design” of the top part that holds the speaker safe on the stand doesn’t have any negative impact on the sound.
The dimensions of the floor stand are not that large and fit well to Sonos Plays dimensions.
In the end it’s a very personal decision, if you prefer a floor stand solution, but if you do, I just can recommend the Vebos floor stand for Sonos Play as a high quality and comfortable solution to switch easily between fixed and mobile usecase.
