Do stereo paired speakers stay in stereo when undocked?

My Move speakers in my bedroom are set up as a stereo pair. If I grab one and take it to the bathroom while I shower, is it still in stereo? If I’m using it as a single speaker, I don’t want it in stereo. If it stays in stereo even while undocked, it’d be nice if there were a setting for that.

Not sure what that spam is, but if it’s still on your WiFi, and you’ve set it up as stereo, then yes, it remains as stereo until you ‘separate’ it as two different ‘rooms’ in the Sonos software. It doesn’t automatically change if you remove it from a dock. I’d think that would confuse a lot of folks, not to mention the messing with any TruePlay setups that may have been applied.

But there’s no reason not to request that feature as an option. I just wouldn’t hold my breath…
