Connecting to the music on a Sony Walkman

Question

Can someone tell me in plain english step by step how to connect to the music stored on a Sony Walkman with Sonos Roam? In other words I want to play the music stored on the hard disk of the Walkman?

Depends upon the model. Does your Walkman have Bluetooth. If so just put the Roam in pairing mode and search for it on the Walkman. Note that you have to set the Roam up on your home WiFi first.

If the Walkman does not have Bluetooth then you can buy a line out adapter to Bluetooth and then connect that adapter tp the Roam.

Hi @Jen005Welcome to the Sonos Community!An alternative to@bockersjv’s answer would be to connect both your Walkman and your phone to a PC, and copy the tracks over - you will then be able to play from your phone via Bluetooth to Roam (or via AirPlay, if on a network and an iPhone), assuming your phone has space for the tracks, that is.I hope this helps.
