I just received (2) Sonos Move 2 speakers and a Sub 4. Having trouble connecting the Sub 4 to the speakers. The connection options don’t include Move2. Is it possible to connect the Sub in this configuration

I don’t think the Move, either generation, can be connected with a Sub. As with the Roams…if the ‘main’ device goes away, what should the Sub be connected to?

Thanks for your reply. I’ll reevaluate my system and consider the necessary changes.

If it were me, I’d replace the Move with a sub-compatible speaker. A Sonos One, or a Sonos Era 100 are the closest equivalent, but none of the portables (battery powered) can connect with a Sub. Check the FAQ on the sales page.

If you could swap the Moves for Era-100s you should be able to use the Sub 4.

I’d kick in a few more bucks and get the Era-300s as I’m becoming addicted to Atmos music and the 300s do a great job at that.
