Used to sing praises of Sonos and usability. What happened? Is it the new app. Spent over an hour just trying to get roam 2 connected to network then tried to use with roam gen 1 as a surround. Not a fan anymore. Won’t work. How did things change with Sonos overnight?????
Not sure I understand. You’ve never been able to use a single speaker, much less a portable (battery powered like the Roam and Move) as a surround speakers.
Sorry you had issues with getting your Roam 2 connected to your network. Most likely a network communication issue as you now have it on your network.
FYI, Roams cannot be used as surrounds. They can be used as a stereo pair when on Wi-Fi; but not when on Bluetooth.
