Is the Roam speaker a manufacturer defect?

I have 2 and have given up trying to reboot them. And all the other trouble shooting advice. 
I have serious thoughts of not buying a Sonos again. 

Mine is working fine. Not sure why you’re experiencing something different. I would call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
