why cant I use an upgrade discount on sale items.? also why is the discount applied after tax

Don’t know. I’ve never seen a discount applied to a Sonos item on sale, I would assume since it’s already discounted, they can’t afford to offer more discount on that price.
Tax laws are usually something set by the region involved, and the seller must respect those laws.
