May 25, 2022 Sonos Announcement

Yes, Sonos is making an announcement on May 25, but this event is by invite only and is generally only for the press and media. But I’m sure many of the tech media outlets and social media influencers will be live-blogging and live-tweeting from the event to inform the general public as the announcement is being made.

Link to the webcast is there, but have no idea if there is some sort of requirement needed to listen in.

Thanks to both of you. I’ll be on the lookout. Stay safe.

Ok, so I have been waiting weeks for this event prior to purchasing a Sonos Arc to see if a new product was being announced or prices would move with the release of new alternatives… and there is zero coverage of the event anywhere, and the link above shows no events planned.  WTF happened?  did they cancel it after the leaks earlier this month?

They moved the event up to an earlier date probably because of the leaks. The announcement was the Ray, different color Roams, and Sonos Voice Control.

Also, the Sonos investor website doesn’t stream product announcement events.

Here is a good video of the product launch held in NYC:
