Hello, I don't understand why the latest Sonos app is so bad. I have thought about selling my Play 1, 3 and 5. It is incredible that the only solution is to return the devices to the Sonos S1. Sonos S1 works perfect.

@Dasanyo

„is so bad“ isn’t a very detailed description of what your experiences with s2 app were.
If you want some help, please give us some more information.

Excuse my English, I am Spanish. The new app works very very slow, plays a song and starts in minutes, sometimes I can't find the speakers... and sometimes can't open spoty or amazon music... you send the music to another speaker and it takes minutes to start......

can I eliminate the advertisement in Sonos S1: ya esta disponible la app Sonos S2 ????

@Dasanyo

Ok, sounds like an overall performance issue. There could be many reasons for that, but first I recommend to check Sonos app and devices for the latest update. Next thing to check imo would be your home network. How ist is build up? Just by a router or also with optional hardware like access points or wifi extenders?
How are Sonos devices connected to your network? Just wifi or also via lan cable?

I know older devices like play1 or play3 are limited by their hardware in performance, but that shouldn’t result in such a bad experience like you described.
If you aren’t such familiar with your network devices, you also can call Sonos support directly. They can take a look at some diagnostics of your system.

What „advertisement“ exactly are you talking about? The banner telling you to upgrade to s2? That‘s a general „information“, that all of your devices are s2 ready. It can’t be removed.
If there’s a least one s1 only divice in your s1 system, you won’t get the banner.
