The Google AI summaries seem like they’re purely drawn from Sonos propaganda, and make it harder to get through the search results for useful information.  Just worked through the usual system not found problems.

Sorry, just a sucker who finally broke down and bought a couple of additional speakers.

There is so much ‘false’ information from posters out there regarding Sonos systems, I think AI has a challenge in (currently) interpreting what is good and what is bad. I tend to encourage questions regarding issues to humans, whether that is calling Sonos Support to discuss it, or posting in this forum to get feedback back from other users, who have, through personal knowledge and experience, often had the same issue, and can provide better than average responses. IMHO, much better than AI.

I think of the AI stuff being like the clueless buddy you had back in school that could BS the best sounding stories on any topic but had no concern just what a mess his nonsense answer was going to get you in.

To be fair, I all too often remained silent in anticipation of the entertainment that was coming.

There is a Substack called AI Central that has some interesting commentary on AI foibles.

Why are you complaining about Google AI on a Sonos forum?

Google is an ad company. Suggest using web searches prefixed with “site:sonos.com” to narrow the results down to this site to avoid AI slop.
