The sonos products aren't compatible with the type of WiFi signal my router emits

"Tp link Deco mesh kits"

How do I make them work? Wired? What are the steps?

Hi. I have no idea what you mean by Sonos being incompatible in that way. But in the settings for the wired Beam do you have "Disable Wifi" or "Enable WiFi "? It needs to be enabled.

To which device is the Beam wired?

The Beam creates its own 5GHz wifi link to its surrounds. Your wifi network is irrelevant to the Beam/surrounds linkage.

Also, curiosity begs the question, what kind of Wifi signal is emitted by this “TP Link Deco Mesh Unit”?
