Volume control steps too large on lower volume

I feel that the volume steps when using the Beam 2 connected to an LG Oled TV using eARC is a bit too large when the volume is low. The volume control resolution in the app is better, but for some reason each press on the remote control for the TV adjust the volume 2 steps up/down. 

Has anyone else noticed the same? Any chance this could be fixed in a coming update?

If number of volume steps on eARC is not possible to change, then maybe by having a non-linear volume scale (in dB) could be an option, i.e. having smaller steps in dB when volume is low and then increasing to current step size as volume goes up?

TV remotes have always adjusted the volume of Sonos devices by 2 steps at a time - I assume this is by design.
