using sonos beam to playback vinyl music using bluetooth adapter to hdmi optical convertor

I have a Bluetooth turntable that i wish to try connect to my existing Beam. Was thinking of making this connection using the Beam’s supplied optical adapter, connected to a Bluetooth adapter’s optical port.

The Beam,s HDMI port is listening for an ARC feed; just wondering if the above will work.

I’d not worry about the HDMI-ARC connection the Beam expects, the adapter is made for this. I’ll worry about the Beam being able to interpret the stream it’s being fed from the adapter. Wil this codec work? Buy a bluetooth adapter you can return.
