Trying to troubleshoot my in-laws Sonos PlayBar—not seeing it in the app. I reset the app (S1), nothing. Downloaded the newer app; didn’t see it. Plugged the Ethernet into the WiFi router, nada. Tried to reset the speaker itself by holding the play/pause and mute buttons down while I plugged it back in and the lights never changed from solid white.
It hasn’t worked for him for a while—part of the problem is Verizon came in and installed a new router or something and now the optical cable is nowhere to be found. Replacing that is no problem but I should be able to connect the speaker to the local network and at least play music…
thoughts?
