Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and Era 300’s

Just set up my system. When I run a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound test “YouTube “( Sonos app says I’m getting Dolby Digital Plus 5.1) the left, center and right are all separate. When it gets to the right rear and left rear I get sound from the Arc Ultra also. Is this normal? I would think all the channels would separate.

Am I missing something?

When you set up, did you add the Eras as surrounds, so that the whole speaker set is assigned to one room?

Often, YouTube is only stereo. What happens if you play a 5.1 movie? Or can you test with a different test tone source?

You might want to look here… sounds like a similar thing.

I did set up as surrounds and have tried several sources with the same issue. Appreciate the input.

Thank you!
