My rear Arc seems to dominate the surround sound with very little sound coming from the rear speakers. How do I adjust the balance please

I assume you don’t mean rear Arc, but a pair of surround speakers of some type, since the Arc can’t be used as surrounds.
Open your controller.
Click on the gear icon on the top right side.
Click on the name of the room that contains the Arc.
Click on ‘Surround Audio’ under the heading labeled ‘Sound’. Note that you’ll likely have to scroll to see this.
Adjust the volume of your rear speakers in the ‘room’ for either TV audio, or music audio, using the sliders.

Don’t forget you won’t hear anything from your surrounds if there is no audio in the soundtrack using those speakers at that moment. They don’t play sound all the time when watching TV, only when the soundtrack calls for it. They will be audible all the time when you’re playing music and have them set to Full.
