Sorry, if the suggestion already was made, but the forum search imo isn’t quite good and I didn’t get such results.
So I‘m asking myself if it will be possible to add the new 3 step speech  enhancement for Arc Ultra also to other home theater devices like Beam2, Ray and Arc.
That would be a great feature as long as there isn’t the option to adjust center level in tv mode like it’s supported for the rear channels.
Would be nice if a mod pushes the idea forward.
Or are there known limitations for the other devices that prevent them from getting the same option like Arc Ultra?

Hi @Schlumpf

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!

I don’t know if there are any limitations that prevent other devices from having 3 levels of Speech Enhancement as with Arc Ultra.

I asked a similar question yesterday.

which system solely to improve hearing problems

I am looking to buy a system within the next few days and speech enhancement is something I am very interested in but on the forum there appears to be a lot of issues. A lot of negative replies surrounding the new app.

Corry  can you explain why I should by the ultra or arc with speech enhancement and have your issues with the app been sorted

Hi @EvieLabrador

The newer Sonos app is now more successful at completing multiple functions than the old app ever was - we receive telemetry, so we know this to be true. It is also true, however, that some people are still seeing some issues, and it is also true that one or two functions have yet to be added to achieve full parity with the previous app - we are now very close in this regard, however.

In addition, barring some missing functions, many people did not experience issues at all.

If you have an Android device that runs ColorOS or OS MIUI, you may still have issues with connecting to a Sonos system - we are currently concentrating on supporting “standard” Android versions.

Otherwise, I think it a safe bet that you would not now see any issues with choosing Sonos for your solution. If you do, we are here to help.

I personally have never heard an Arc in person, but I do have an Arc Ultra and have never once had trouble with discerning dialogue - we redesigned the enclosure the centre driver sits in to improve clarity, and have a 3-level Speech Enhancement function (which I personally have not found the need to use), the third level of which uses AI to boost the dialogue. I think Arc Ultra is astoundingly good at what it does.

I hope this helps.

I agree! Bringing the 3 levels of dialogue clarity to other soundbars would be a nice feature, and great for those who have hearing issues as well.
