Sub gen 3 no sound. Info says to toggle. App for sun has no on and off. Please explain how to toggle. Thanks

Probably they are suggesting a reboot. Just remove power for a minute.
I don’t recommend Factory Reset without further consult.
Make sure that the power cord is fully seated. You need to push hard.

Settings/System/roomname. Scroll down to Sound and you’ll see Sub Audio. There’s an on/off toggle there, and a slider to boost the sub audio level.
