I have new units, arc connection works, but can get sub 4 to even be found 

I have rebooted both units and still sub 4 will not connect.

I’d try, at least temporarily, connecting both Arc Ultra and the Sub gen 4 to your router with an Ethernet cable. That should reduce potential of communication errors.

Remember, the TV connects to the Arc via ARC, and the Sub connects to the Arc via a 5Ghz hidden channel, normally, which is one reason why you should never turn off the radio/wifi on a Sonos soundbar. 


And yes, I’m not a huge fan of naming a device the Arc, when it connects via ARC, and is also not physically an arc.
